In Behn' s play "THE ROVER " we find the feminine perspective in her play. Behn potrait the feminine elements through the characters of Florida, Hellena and Angelica.
Florida's character show the struggle of women to have their own agency in merriage.she is noble lady who love with an englishman named Belvile. However is forced to marry suitor selected by her brother. So here we find the patriarchal society overtook the ability of women.
Through the Hellena writer represents the rebellious and witty female who dares the
restriction imposed upon her.
Angelica is another female character. In her profession it is her who dominated over chhooing a partner for her. Angelica through behn represents a ability of women capture a man through beauty and lust.
